ACM: Association for Computing Machinery includes magazines and journal articles, conference proceedings, etc. Only the journal articles are available in full text; click on Digital Library to search for them. |
| American Chemical Society provides full image articles from dozens of chemistry journals. Click on search the journals to search for articles. |
| American Journal of Botany has complete article archives back to 1997. |
| IEEE/IEE Electronic Library Online has nearly a third of the world's current literature in electrical engineering, electronics, and computer science, including full text database of journals and conference proceedings. |
| IOP, the Institute of Physics, offers full text physics magazines, full image articles from dozens of journals, and other physics information. |
| Journals@Ovid has full text articles from dozens of nursing journals. You won't get complete journal holdings, so search for articles on a topic. |
| JSTOR is a full image database of back issues of hundreds of scholarly journals. |
| Lexis-Nexis has full text articles on business, law, medicine, etc. |
| MathSciNet "is the searchable Web database providing access to ... Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications, ... produced by the American Mathematical Society." |
| Nature
Archives provides complete articles from Nature for the
years 1987--1996.
The New England Journal of Medicine has citations and abstracts starting from 1975, and full text articles from 1993 to present. |
| InfoTrac Newspapers includes articles from selected major Texas and national newspapers. |
| Professional Development Collection "provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 250 full text journals, designed for professional educators." |
| Science Direct is a "Web database for scientific research that contains the full text of more than 1,000 Elsevier Science journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences available through the Internet." Click on the group-wide login button to begin, then click on either the Journals button or the Search button to begin your search. |
| SpringerLINK provides abstracts, full text, and full image articles from journals published by Springer. The articles/journals are in the fields of computer science, economics, engineering, law, medicine, mathematics, and life and physical sciences. Click on search to begin your search for articles. |
| Wiley InterScience provides full image access to over 400 journals from the Wiley publishers. Disciplines include business, education, law, and psychology, in addition to a variety of sciences and engineering. Click on Journal Search to look for articles. |
