Acquisitions/Serials Department

The purpose of the Acquisitions/Serials section of The University of Texas-Pan American Library is to support the goals of the Library and the mission of the University by:

ordering, receiving and processing materials for the collection in a timely and cost effective manner

expeditiously and effectively spending the materials budget

providing available information on the expenditure of funds, and other acquisitions activities to administrators, faculty liaisons, bibliographers, and other constituencies

complying with all state and University purchasing and accounting regulations
